Job Description
What Impact You'll Have
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Imagery Analyst to support mission-critical GEOINT production and quality assurance efforts for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in imagery analysis, intelligence reporting, and Intelligence Community (IC) analytic tradecraft, with a proven ability to evaluate, improve, and mentor the production of high-quality intelligence. This role is critical to ensuring finished intelligence products meet the rigorous analytic standards established by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) while supporting NGA's mission to deliver timely, objective, and actionable GEOINT to national security decision-makers.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Imagery Analyst, you will perform quality control and quality assurance reviews of finished intelligence products, ensuring compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 and ICD 206 prior to publication. You will evaluate the full spectrum of NGA intelligence reporting to verify analytic rigor, sourcing, objectivity, and adherence to established tradecraft standards, directly supporting NGA's congressionally mandated mission under the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act.
You will provide expert guidance to imagery analysts across the Geospatial Intelligence Community by identifying opportunities to improve analytic quality, strengthen reporting practices, and enhance compliance with Intelligence Community standards. In addition to conducting comprehensive post-production product reviews, you will mentor analysts through detailed feedback and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and consistency of intelligence production.
This position also plays a significant role in workforce development. You will instruct instructor-led courses focused on ICD 203 Analytic Tradecraft Standards and NGA reporting requirements, delivering classroom instruction and practical guidance that enables analysts to produce intelligence that is both analytically rigorous and operationally relevant. Through training, mentoring, and collaboration, you will help foster a culture of excellence across the GEOINT enterprise.
