Job Description
General Atomics Integrated Intelligence, Inc. GA-Intelligence is seeking a highly experienced Cleared Senior System Engineering Integration & Testing (SEIT) Engineer to lead technical integration and testing activities for mission-critical systems. This individual will play a key leadership role by mentoring other SEIT engineers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of complex systems for national and tactical situational awareness applications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Gather, analyze, and decompose system requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Develop system architectures and designs through Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and processes.
- Define and maintain system and software interfaces, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Collaborate with software, data, and test teams to ensure end-to-end system functionality and data integrity.
- Participate in system integration activities and validate component interoperability.
- Create and execute test plans and procedures, including regression, interface, performance, and system-level testing.
- Manage configuration and version control across integrated components using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Document system designs, testing strategies, and integration processes.
- Ensure compliance with DoD and IC standards for software assurance and systems engineering best practices.
- Learn, deploy, and support GA-i3’s Optix and related tracking systems.
- Lead strategic planning for system integration and test roadmaps, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational and programmatic objectives.
- Mentor and onboard systems and test engineering staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture.
- Act as the technical liaison with cross-functional teams and leadership to coordinate integration milestones and test execution.
- Drive improvements in integration reliability and performance, proactively identifying risks and leading mitigation efforts.
- Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on continuous learning and operational excellence.
- Serve as a lead for Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) which requires cross domain knowledge of systems, software, military/domain knowledge, and program management.

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information system or related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Bash, Matlab.
- Experience with integration and system-level testing, including test plan creation, execution, and documentation.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and SysML diagramming (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, Innoslate).
- Knowledge of software/system engineering lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and version control (Git).
- Demonstrated leadership in integration and testing domains, with experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex systems.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience mentoring and onboarding engineers, fostering team growth and professional development.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
- Experience working with DoD or Intelligence Community systems.
- Exposure to object tracking systems and geospatial data.
- Experience with Linux Command Line Interface (CLI), containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with Kalman filtering and state estimation techniques.
- Understanding of secure system integration in classified or tactical environments.
- Strategic thinker capable of aligning integration and test efforts with long-term organizational goals.
- Recognized soft skills such as being analytical, collaborative, inventive, a problem-solver, team-oriented, and creative.
