Job Description: As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the development and continuous improvement of an integrated Operations and Continuous Innovation supporting mission-critical software products and operational services across complex production applications. Serving as a key liaison between operational teams, technical stakeholders, program leadership, and government clients, you will ensure that business needs, operational performance, and product priorities remain aligned to mission objectives.
In this role, you will support and monitor the delivery of Tier 1 and Tier 2 support services across multiple programs operating within Unclassified and Top Secret/SCI environments. You will help define and continuously refine escalation paths, triage procedures, incident management processes, and communication workflows tailored to the security, compliance, and operational requirements of each classification level.
The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with systems engineers, developers, and program leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. You will analyze service delivery trends, user feedback, incident data, system performance metrics, and operational reporting to recommend improvements, prioritize enhancements, and support automation initiatives that reduce operational costs, improve service delivery, and demonstrate measurable return on investment.
You will establish, monitor, and report on Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and associated performance metrics. Through executive-level dashboards, reports, and briefings, you will provide actionable insights into operational performance, incident trends, customer satisfaction, and service delivery effectiveness.
In support of product and service evolution, you will assist in developing and maintaining a multi-quarter product roadmap, manage and prioritize agile backlogs, and facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation activities. You will work closely with program managers, engineers, cybersecurity teams, and senior government stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure the successful delivery of capabilities within a secure cloud environment.
Duties:
Analyze business and operational requirements across multiple programs and security enclaves.
Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational services through process analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Define and maintain incident management, escalation, and notification procedures.
Monitor and report on operational metrics, SLOs, and service performance metrics.
Gather, document, and manage business, functional, and operational requirements.
Facilitate agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
Investigate operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate communications among government stakeholders, operational teams, and technical resources.
Prepare executive presentations for leadership review.
Attending and facilitating weekly/bi-weekly meetings with partner teams, including STEAM and client stakeholders.
Serving as a representative of OCIT processes, methodologies, and operational responses.
Monitoring, analyzing, and tracking issues, client feedback, bugs, enhancement requests, and operational concerns reported across both enclaves.
Managing communications and monitoring designated email accounts across both enclaves to ensure timely response and issue resolution.
Developing business process models, workflow documentation, standard operating procedures, and operational playbooks.
Supporting continuous process improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Providing executive briefings and presentations to communicate operational performance, risks, recommendations, and strategic initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting IT Operations, Enterprise Support, or Mission Operations environments.
Experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-based delivery environments.
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) practices and operational governance frameworks.
Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement, and requirements management skills.
Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
Ability to translate complex technical information into actionable business recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree + 4 years of relevant experience (Master’s Degree to sub YOE)
3+ Years of Cyber Triage
3+ Years of Enterprise Performance Reporting
5+ Years of Escalations & Notifications Experience
3+ Years of Executive Presentations Experience
5+ Years of Incident Management

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $120,000-150,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
