• Demonstrated experience analyzing network performance, cybersecurity events, system logs, operational test data, or enterprise network environments.
• Experience utilizing Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, or similar enterprise data integration and analytics platforms.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, scripting, and analytical workflows.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, machine learning applications, or advanced analytics platforms to support network or cyber analysis.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network protocols, cybersecurity principles, system logging, packet analysis, and network performance monitoring.

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to support a government customer in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will serve as a Network, Cyber, and Data Analyst supporting Counter-UAS (C-UAS) testing and evaluation efforts. On a day-to-day basis, you will collect and analyze network, cybersecurity, RF, and operational test data from sensors, command and control systems, and supporting enterprise networks to assess system performance and mission effectiveness. Using tools such as Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI-enabled analytics platforms, you will evaluate network traffic, system logs, cybersecurity events, telemetry data, and performance metrics to identify trends, vulnerabilities, anomalies, and operational impacts. You will work closely with engineers, operators, and mission stakeholders to support developmental and operational testing by developing dashboards, visualizations, technical reports, and executive briefings that communicate key findings and recommendations. Additionally, you will assess network architectures, cybersecurity controls, interoperability, and communications performance, while leveraging AI and machine learning to improve threat detection, anomaly analysis, and decision support. The role also involves supporting test planning activities, developing performance metrics and analytical frameworks, documenting results through technical reports and after-action reviews, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, data governance standards, and information assurance requirements. Staying current on emerging cyber threats, network technologies, AI capabilities, and evolving C-UAS architectures is essential to continuously improving analytical processes and supporting acquisition and mission decisions.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
