Advanced Technologies (AT) within Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) is seeking a to support the financial management of assigned programs. This hybrid position is primarily based in , with additional work locations available in and . The role supports the day-to-day business and financial activities for a portfolio of programs within Advanced Technologies.


  • Perform cost and schedule control, analysis, and reporting for assigned programs.
  • Support the financial management and execution of assigned contracts.
  • Manage financial processes for assigned programs, including monitoring program financial performance and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, and other functional teams to support program financial objectives.
  • Learn and apply Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles and processes.
  • Perform forecasting, data analysis, financial reporting, and program performance reviews.
  • Support the development of Estimates at Completion (EACs), including cost analysis, variance analysis, and identification of program risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports for program reviews, leadership requests, and business planning activities.
  • Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Five-Year Operating Plan (FYOP) forecasts.



  • Program financial management processes within a defense environment.
  • Financial analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting using Microsoft Excel and enterprise financial systems.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Supply Chain organizations.
  • Defense industry financial processes, including cost controls, program reviews, compliance requirements, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Preparation and presentation of financial data, program risks, opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders.



  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline, and less than 2 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting function.
  • Experience providing financial and business support.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience using SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, or comparable enterprise business systems.

  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders and meeting established deadlines.

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
