Job Description

• Position: Integration and CDS Engineer
• Location: 9975 Federal Drive
• Duration: long term, ongoing contract – we are a direct sub to the C2BMC program
• Clearance: Top Secret
• Program – C2BMC
"Essential Functions:
• Assisting software development personnel with investigating and resolving issues
• Develop configurations to support testing and prototyping of developing systems
• Creating and modifying scripts to analyze input, internal, and output message data
• Troubleshooting issues in both testing and prototypes
• Create troubleshooting procedures and workaround documents
• Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents as necessary, and represent the Integration team
• Automating scripts to configure and maintain remote hosts
Basic Qualifications:
Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
• Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
• Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the eligibility to be read on to SCI clearance
• Responsible for the development, configuration control, deployment, and testing of Radiant Mercury Configuration (including Rules), with a primary focus on Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) integration
• Will play a key role in ensuring seamless CDS implementation, configuration, and maintenance, and may be required to travel to remote locations to perform CDS installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in accordance with Program configuration management processes
• Will assist with integrating JEMINI Lab test suites into our development lab
• Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills, proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated integration engineers and independently at times on large field projects
• Network Management and Monitoring Systems Experience
• Understanding of standard DOD security practices, such as STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
• Proven experience in network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Radiant Mercury strongly desired
• Candidates with experience planning and supporting the deployment of network infrastructure are highly sought after
• Prior C2BMC network experience is also an advantage
• Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools; scripting experience a plus
• Experience with GitLab/Maven is also desired"
