Job Description



Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Special Security Representative. This position you will be a full-time member of the JECC J2 and will provide assist with all personnel security actions. In this position you will assist in the management and administration of the command's Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). In this role you will provide INFOSEC and Security Education Support. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the accountability and control of SCI, Top Secret, and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) classified material; serving as an assistant Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO Conduct advanced statistical analysis of workforce trends, readiness metrics, and demographic data to provide actionable, predictive insights to senior leadership.
  • Assisting in the management of two (2) SCIF identification numbers with multiple rooms and one (1) Temporary Secure Working Area (TSWA); and preparing and maintaining all SCIF accreditation documentation in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705. 
  • Tasks include initiating, reviewing, and processing clearance and periodic reinvestigation requests using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS); processing incoming and outgoing visit access requests for all supported personnel; finger printing; conducting indoctrinations for personnel granted access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI); and conducting debriefings for personnel no longer requiring access.


Requirements

  • TS/SCI
  • 2 years of experience in a DoW SCI environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Regional Cognizant Security Authority Norfolk SSO-SSR Professional Training Course required within 1 year of assuming position
