We are seeking a Project Engineer with a strong systems engineering background to lead technical development efforts from concept through verification. This role is ideal for an engineer with 3–10 years of experience who enjoys translating customer needs into technical solutions, leading cross-functional engineering teams, and guiding projects through the full product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of systems engineering, technical project leadership, and development experience. While testing and verification exposure is valuable, this team is specifically looking to add someone with stronger front-end development and systems definition experience to complement existing test-focused team members.

• Translate customer requirements into detailed system and subsystem requirements.
• Develop project scope, engineering estimates, and technical plans.
• Serve as the technical lead for integrated product teams, coordinating activities across engineering disciplines.
• Drive requirements generation, decomposition, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support system architecture, design reviews, integration activities, and verification planning.
• Collaborate with customers, program management, and engineering teams to ensure project success.
• Support system-level testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Work in Linux environments utilizing command-line tools for system setup, package installation, and configuration.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and stakeholders throughout development efforts.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–10 years of experience in systems engineering, project engineering, test engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
• Strong background in requirements development, derivation, and management.
• Experience translating customer needs into technical specifications and engineering work packages.
• Working knowledge of computer networking concepts and networked systems.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line interface (CLI) environments.
• Experience working across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept development through verification and validation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs or defense-related products.
• Background in ruggedized computing, embedded systems, or high-performance computing environments.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA-based systems, GPU validation, GPU burn-in testing, or hardware qualification activities.
• Experience with system integration and thermal testing activities.
• Understanding of hardware/software integration and system-level troubleshooting.
• Previous experience serving as a technical lead on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
What Success Looks Like
This individual will serve as a key technical leader, driving projects from customer concept through final verification while coordinating engineering efforts across multiple disciplines. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking, technical leadership, and the ability to bridge customer requirements with practical engineering execution.
