Insight Xcite is recruiting for distinct systems, cloud, and data engineering requirements. Candidates need the experience required by a specific track; general Windows/Linux administration does not establish a match to every opening.
Windows Automation and Patching - Herndon (Expert)
Required: 11+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 9+ with a Master's; Tier 3 Windows troubleshooting; Windows Server 2016/2019/2022; AD, DNS and DHCP; advanced PowerShell; WSUS across multiple enclaves including offline/air-gapped systems; SCCM/ConfigMgr or similar; cloud patching; STIG/vulnerability-remediation workflows; VMware and Hyper-V; and commercial cloud experience. Work centers on automated patching, configuration management, modernization, and root-cause analysis.
Cloud Deployment Pipelines - Herndon (Expert)
Required: Bachelor's degree and 11 years of work experience or equivalent experience; Azure or other cloud DevOps pipelines using YAML and classic pipelines; cloud application, storage, secrets, networking and monitoring services; Infrastructure as Code using ARM/Bicep/Terraform or similar; Git; CI/CD and DevSecOps; secure development; and deployment/configuration troubleshooting. Docker/AKS, security scanning, automation scripting, and Azure certifications are preferred.
Systems / Data Engineering - Herndon (Expert)
Required: at least 11 years of relevant experience; integrating diverse data streams; data-transfer tools such as NiFi or Cribl; network/system and log analysis; shared networks and multiple security enclaves; managing/troubleshooting data feeds; Splunk familiarity; and Python. IT/engineering degrees are preferred. Work includes data pipelines, standards, models, and reliable data delivery.
Cloud Identity Engineering - Herndon
The customer narrative requires a relevant Bachelor's degree and 11+ years designing, implementing, and managing large-scale Azure/M365 environments. Required expertise includes Entra ID/Azure AD, identity federation, RBAC, Conditional Access/MFA, M365 security/compliance, Azure services, PowerShell/Azure CLI, FSLogix profiles, AVD, identity protocols, and relevant Azure/M365 certifications. The customer level designation requires confirmation before submission.
Multi-Cloud / Broadcast Systems - Chantilly
Required: high-security cloud networking; AWS services/API configuration; Python, C++, Linux/Windows scripting and Linux/Android environments; RHEL administration, patching, server installation and firmware testing; and cloud engineering including MediaLive, DynamoDB automation, and troubleshooting. Broadcast experience is particularly valued: satellite/terrestrial TV, AM/FM radio, codecs, streaming, encoding equipment, IP routing/switching, and broadcast-system installations.
Voice engineering and ServiceNow development requirements have separate specialist postings. Customer qualifications and placement are assessed for the individual opening.
