About the roles
Insight Xcite is continuously recruiting ServiceNow developers for current and upcoming customer needs across locations. This requisition covers ServiceNow work under the actual labor categories Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Software Developer. The requirements below describe known openings; they are not an exhaustive list or a restriction to one location. Candidates will be considered for suitable opportunities based on their technical strengths and the requirements of each customer position. Experience, education and certification requirements vary by position.
Systems Engineer - ServiceNow Application Development
Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, catalog items, record producers, portals, notifications, reports, business rules, UI policies, client scripts and ACLs. This known requirement includes ServiceNow/JavaScript, Agile development and Jira; familiarity with MySQL, PHP, Windows server installation/configuration, web APIs and incorporating information-security policies into requirements. The current Chantilly opening has core hours of 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Software Developer - ServiceNow Business Process Development
This known requirement includes strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS; ServiceNow development or advanced software/low-code development with aptitude to develop ServiceNow skills; Flow Designer, catalog items and business rules; business-process analysis and improvement; technical requirements; project/task management; IT lifecycle/change/release management; and knowledge-management artifacts. Hands-on ServiceNow experience of 4+ years and certifications are preferred for this current Herndon opening.
Software Engineer (Expert) - ServiceNow CMDB and Zero Trust
This current Herndon requirement includes 11 years of relevant experience and a technical bachelor's or master's degree. Work includes CMDB, asset and change management, IntegrationHub, custom development, user interfaces, workflows and integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, SQL, JSON and XML. Support discovery and configuration-item data quality, source integrations and attributes needed for Zero Trust. Basic Zero Trust architecture knowledge and Agile/Jira experience are required; ServiceNow accreditations are preferred.
Software Engineer (SME) - ServiceNow Development
This current Herndon requirement includes at least 16 years of relevant experience. An IT or engineering bachelor's or master's degree is preferred. Work spans ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR, CSM, asset and change management, custom development, CMDB, service status and portals. Relevant skills include JavaScript, Oracle/MySQL, Agile estimating, communication, managing concurrent priorities, maintaining system integrity and corrective action. ServiceNow CSA, Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps and Zero Trust qualifications are preferred.
Clearance Requirement

Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) to be considered for employment.

Work Location Requirement
