• Site Survey & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive site surveys to document existing infrastructure, rack space, and cabling. Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement prior to design and deployment.
• Solution Engineering: Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust ISP/OSP infrastructure solutions, including fiber optic, copper backbone, CAT6/6A structured cable, and network enclosures. Develop high-level and detailed engineering plans.
• Transition Management: Lead the seamless transition from survey and design phases into implementation, ensuring all findings and recommendations are incorporated into project plans and field execution.
• Quality & Compliance: Enforce adherence to OSHA, BICSI, TIA/EIA, and federal/military standards. Maintain documentation, field logs, and classified progress reports.
• Project Delivery: Oversee project execution from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with project milestones, budgets, and federal security protocols.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Security Clearance: Active, verifiable Top Secret / SCI clearance. CI Polygraph eligibility or willingness preferred.
• Experience: 7–10 years in telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, and OSP/ISP design and delivery, with 3–5 years in a technical leadership or architect role.
• Site Survey Expertise: Experience conducting site surveys, documenting existing conditions, and developing actionable recommendations for infrastructure upgrades or new deployments.
• Classified Environment Experience: Proven success architecting and delivering infrastructure within SCIFs, data centers, or secure federal/DoD facilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of fiber optics (single-mode, multi-mode, splicing, testing), OSP civils (trenching, boring, aerial), ISP spaces (enclosures, patch panels), and Cat 6/6A infrastructure.
• Blueprint & Schematics: Proficient in interpreting engineering designs, GIS maps, splicing matrices, and construction drawings.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers, project leads, and subcontractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
