Job Description

ServiceNow Workflow Manager
As a ServiceNow Workflow Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise ServiceNow solutions that enable a critical U.S. Air Force mission. Based onsite at Langley AFB, you’ll combine technical leadership with people management to deliver reliable platform capabilities while helping your team grow and succeed.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow administrators, developers, and analysts responsible for platform delivery and support.
• Provide technical direction for ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, integrations, custom applications, and platform enhancements.
• Establish and maintain ServiceNow governance, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Review solution designs, workflows, and customizations to promote scalable, secure, and maintainable implementations.
• Own the strategy and governance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), driving data quality, configuration accuracy, and asset visibility across the enterprise.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical approaches, and deliver solutions that support mission objectives.
• Lead ServiceNow roadmap planning, platform modernization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop dashboards, analytics, and reporting that provide operational insight and demonstrate platform performance and business value.
• Monitor service quality, support SLA performance, and lead incident and problem resolution for platform-related issues.
• Coordinate with ServiceNow support, internal teams, and external partners to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles that support long-term platform success.
• Foster a collaborative team culture focused on continuous learning, professional development, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Need
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
• High School diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CND, or equivalent).
• Experience leading ServiceNow development, implementation, and support teams.
• Strong knowledge of core ServiceNow capabilities including:
◦ IT Service Management (ITSM)
◦ Customer Service Management (CSM)
◦ Security Incident Response (SIR)
◦ ServiceNow App Engine
◦ Platform administration and configuration
• Experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise CMDB environments, including Configuration Item relationships, data quality, discovery integrations, and ITIL configuration management practices.
• Experience building dashboards, reports, and performance analytics that support operational decision-making and business objectives.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, ServiceNow data modeling, HTML/CSS, and secure software development practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to balance technical priorities, business needs, and team development.
Preferred Qualifications
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience supporting DoD NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments.
