You will lead integration and execution of team of Quality professionals across product teams and disciplines and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and customers to ensure alignment and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Lead Quality and Mission Assurance efforts for program bids and proposals, gates and milestone reviews, risk and opportunity management, and program excellence processes.
- Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement.
- Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.
- Initiate and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability.
- Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience
- Relevant experience is working in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and/or Program Quality Leadership
- Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience providing quality technical guidance, achieving design, development, and/or manufacturing results.
- Experience with programs/contracts/efforts that have prototype, development, and/or early manufacturing development content.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience as a Program Quality Lead, including cross-discipline knowledge/experience executing Hardware Quality, Software Quality and/or Supplier Quality (and/or Supplier Assurance) is highly desired for this role.
- Experience with programs/contracts/efforts that require tailoring processes to support rapid development and deployment of complex/critical systems.
- Experience tailoring quality flow downs to suppliers to balance speed vs. risk is highly desired.
- Experience with rapid development and deployment programs/contracts/efforts
- Experience negotiating Quality requirements and results with customers to support rapid system development and deployment.
- Experience applying quality requirements and standards, including aerospace, commercial, defense, and/or space standards as well as internal policies, procedures and requirements.
- Experience with contracts / contractual requirements, particularly on U.S. Government contracts.
- Experience driving successful performance of major subcontractors, suppliers and/or IOTs.
- Experience with defense systems throughout the product life cycle, including design, production, installation, integration, test and sustainment.
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and documenting problems with requirements, program functionality, and/or software releases.
- Experience defining and evaluating Quality metrics.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally.
Experience assessing Engineering work products (Peer Reviews, Configuration Control Boards, Code Reviews, Product Readiness and Sale, etc.) to identify and eliminate in-phase defects. - Experience participating in test preparation and execution to ensure requirements are verified.
- Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management.
- Experience utilizing data, quality science tools and facilitating cross-functional teams to drive root cause, corrective action, and systematic improvement activities.
- RTX CORE certified and proficient.
- Earned Value certified and proficient.
- Experience communicating verbally and in written communications and networking with other stakeholders

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
