JCITA's mission is to provide the U.S. government with a well-trained and knowledgeable cadre of counterintelligence practitioners to combat adversarial intelligence threats.
JCITA provides a full spectrum of joint and advanced counterintelligence training, which includes CI operations, collections, investigations, functional services, and analysis. JCITA is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and adheres to COE standards.
JCITA offers in-residence courses, mobile training teams, and distance/distributed learning opportunities; courses include rigorous student assessments to meet strict instructional design standards.
The Computer Network Engineer must be able to design, draft, implement and troubleshoot equipment and software installation plans based on system requirements and specifications . Must maintain each component of the network and troubleshoot issues. The Computer Network Engineer shall be responsible for monitoring the network firewall, conducting log analysis, implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) requirements, assessing the functionality of the network devices, ensuring all information security software is updated and patched daily. The - Computer Network Engineer will develop . and implement usage policies in accordance with course requirements and specifications
The Computer Network Engineer must have a minimum often ( I 0) years of experience configuring and managing both Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Linux based networks, experience in network architecture deployment, and expertise in deploying virtual machines.
Must have expertise in network engineering and administration is demonstrated through a combination of DoD and/or Federal Government recognized industry training and certifications and work experience in verifiable assignments exercising increased levels of responsibility.
Required experience and education levels are commensurate with DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II as referenced in DoD '8570.01-M and related issuances.
Experience with virtual environments and logging applications (such as SPLUNK) is required.
You must possess and maintain a final TS security clearance and be eligible for SCI clearance.
