DCI Job Requirement for:
Logistician
Location: Arlington, VA
Job Description:
• Serve as a Lifecycle Logistician
• Support the Supply Chain Integration Diminishing Manufacturing Source (DMS) PM
• Work closely and interface with:
◦ Air Vehicle DMS lead
◦ Prime Contractor DMS Lead and the JPO Team Integrated Product Team (IPT)
• Identify DMS issues and risks
• Develop issue resolution and risk mitigation plans
◦ To support the production and life cycle sustainment of the F-35 Air System
• Assist with the management of the DMS Council and overall DMS planning, including:
◦ Issues resolution
◦ Development and operation of the program DMS management process
• Conduct reviews of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Technical Evaluations.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Supply Chain Integration DMS experience
• Strong experience managing Shipping and Receiving of materials CONUS and OCONUS
•Understanding of Import / export processes and laws
• Experience with sustainment management fundamentals
• Experience with analyzing issues and formulating solutions to complex problems
• Knowledge of configuration management principles
• Experience planning, and directing, operations
• Experience with aviation logistics (highly preferred)
