HR Representative
Location: APG, MD
Job Description
• Serve as an HR Representative
• Coordinate employee onboarding activities
◦ Prepare hiring packets and onboarding documentation
◦ Ensure completion of employment eligibility forms
• Process new hire personnel actions
◦ Establish employee records and HR files
◦ Coordinate payroll and benefits enrollment
• Maintain personnel records and databases
◦ Track employee status changes and updates
◦ Ensure accuracy of HR data and documentation
• Administer employee leave programs
◦ Track leave requests and balances
◦ Maintain compliance with company policies
• Serve as a point of contact for employees
◦ Respond to HR-related questions and concerns
◦ Escalate complex issues to management as needed
• Support employee relations activities
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of human resources experience
◦ Experience supporting onboarding preferred
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
◦ Familiarity with employment regulations preferred
• Experience with payroll systems
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
◦ Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
◦ Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook required
