Job Description

Serves as the Site Manager's principal staff officer, providing cross-functional support across security, safety, human resources, and training program administration. In this role, the analyst functions as the contract Facility Security Officer (FSO) liaison-managing personnel security clearances, visit requests, and compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)-and as the site Safety Officer, administering the OSHA and AFOSH-compliant safety program, mishap reporting, and hazard tracking. As HR liaison, the analyst coordinates onboarding, benefits inquiries, CBA-related actions, and labor relations matters with corporate HR; as Training Monitor, they maintain individual training records, schedule recurring requirements, and ensure currency of all certifications and qualifications. The Operations Analyst also prepares and submits contract deliverables (CDRLs), maintains performance metrics and dashboards, and executes other duties as assigned by the Site Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

Examines and assesses solutions to problems and drafts procedures for improving operations. Secures information by interviewing employees and/or customers, reading reports, analyzing operations, determining project scope and recommendations in reports. Produces practical solutions by describing requirements, studying system or process capabilities, analyzing alternative solutions, and preparing system specifications, using statistical analysis, simulation, and optimization. Conducts training for employees and/or customers to use new or revised systems. Works with analytical teams on highly complex problems, and works with employee teams to assist with implementation of proposals. Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Typical duties:
  • Collect and analyze operational data.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies via data review.
  • Apply statistical methods and modeling to assess performance and forecast outcomes.
  • Recommend, communicate, and help implement process improvements.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate across departments (IT, finance, logistics) for change management.
  • Support budgeting, financial analysis, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen with valid drivers license.
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain (preference given to those with clearance).
  • Must possess analytical abilities necessary to handle extremely complex administrative and organizational matters.
  • Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
  • Must have completed high school or equivalent.
  • Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in fields like business administration, industrial engineering, operations research, economics, or statistics.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CAP, PMP and/or Power BI.
  • Data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Forecasting and risk analysis.
