Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Lead Logistician in support of one of our large federal clients. This individual will support configuration management, logistics planning, and life cycle sustainment efforts for Navy electronic and C4ISR systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing critical configuration management documentation, analyzing engineering and technical data, and ensuring logistics products support maintenance and acquisition strategies throughout the system lifecycle.Their day-to-day responsibilities will include developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), work file submissions, CDMD-OA queries, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) certifications. The candidate will analyze configuration records across multiple platforms, provide recommendations to engineering teams and stakeholders, develop logistics plans and technical documentation, and support life cycle sustainment activities.
• Develop and maintain configuration management products including ECPs, SCDs, work file submissions, CDMD-OA queries, and ILS certifications
• Compare configuration records across multiple shipboard and combat system platforms
• Analyze technical and engineering documentation and provide recommendations to the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA)
• Develop logistics documentation supporting maintenance philosophies and acquisition strategies
• Ensure logistics products align with life cycle support requirements and Navy standards
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and testing personnel to support system sustainment and modernization efforts
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Compensation: $60k - $80k
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
