Information Assurance Analyst
Suffolk, VA / Onsite
TS/SCI clearance required
Blu Omega is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst to support a federal program focused on cybersecurity and information assurance. This role operates within an onsite environment and is responsible for analyzing and supporting Navy IA functions. The position requires experience supporting Navy cybersecurity functions within a mission-driven environment.

Program: Support for the cybersecurity assessment and authorization efforts, focusing on transforming operational data into actionable intelligence to inform the federal program's decision-making.
Mission overview: Support a high-impact mission emphasizing cybersecurity assessment, RMF package review, and coordination with cybersecurity stakeholders.

Location: Suffolk, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI clearance required (a current SSBI within the five-year scope)
Work Authorization: Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week

Responsibilities
- Analyze general information assurance-related technical problems and provide recommendations and support in solving these issues
- Assess and support the implementation of solutions that meet network security requirements
- Perform vulnerability and risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle
- Develop and review Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages for security authorization
- Perform Package Submitting Office review and validation of RMF packages for security authorization
- Ensure uniformity and performance metric capture across accreditation packages
- Conduct research and analysis to support network security, risk, and compliance policies
- Support cybersecurity assessments and investigations
- Assist in managing eMASS to meet DoW and DoN A&A requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders on RMF package products and status
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
- At least one year of relevant experience supporting IA or cybersecurity functions
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a current SSBI within the last five years
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Suffolk, VA
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and leadership briefings
- Experience with IA functions and cybersecurity assessment processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RMF package development and review
- Knowledge of eMASS and cybersecurity policy compliance
- Certifications such as Security+ (SEC+CE), CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
Compensation
Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
