Summary:
• Manage applications infrastructure.
• Design and implement operating systems and application software.
• Perform software testing.
• Monitor system performance and implement system security.
• Automate tasks using scripting.
• Conduct requirements analysis and technical writing.
• Requires experience in Systems Engineering, Software Testing, and DevOps, with a focus on continuous integration and software configuration management.
• Utilize Jenkins, Linux, Git, Python, and Bash.
• Apply Agile methodologies.
• Preferred skills include Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 6+ years
• Total Compensation: $238k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Responsible for the applications infrastructure across all networks.
• Provide technical support to ensure application security compliance.
• Implement technical precepts and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• System Design & Implementation: Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
• Security & Redundancy: Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support.
• Technology Evaluation: Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations.
