- Provide RMF accreditation support for the enterprise networks (JWICS, Secret, and NIPRNet) to include the standup and migration of services to cloud environments.
- Identify authorization boundaries for RMF common control provider (CCP) packages and complete RMF activities to receive authorizations and enable inheritance of common controls.
- Coordinate and/or complete continuous monitoring activities to maintain enterprise ATOs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Cybersecurity branch personnel to prepare documents required for Interim Authorization to Test/Authorization to Operate (IATT/ATO) approvals, Security Impact Analysis (SIA) and required artifacts, Plans of Actions & Milestones
(POA&Ms), A&A security plan and package artifacts, and training material for ISSMs, ISSOs, system administrators, and Program Managers (PMs). - Maintain system body of evidence in XACTA throughout the lifecycle of enterprise networks.
- Track the schedule and coordinate completion of continuous monitoring functions such as vulnerability scans, audit log reviews, POA&M reviews and updates, and security control revalidation to maintain enterprise network ATOs.
- Identify and propose potential CCPs to branch leadership, to include a list of all security controls proposed to be included in the CCP packages.
- Complete all required RMF activities to obtain authorization and enable inheritance of prioritized CCP packages to include the completion of required security plans and supporting artifacts and Xacta workflow activities.
- Provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next month and important issues occurring during the month. Report shall include system and
POA&M status (if applicable) and trend data (CDRL A001).
Qualifications
- Possess and maintain Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification as required by Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1303, Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, and DoD 8570.01-M.
- Training or formal education in the accreditation of DoD or IC information systems under the RMF.
- 3+ years' experience as an ISSO or ISSM responsible for the accreditation of DoD or IC information systems under the RMF.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
