Federal Services Enterprise Architect - TS/SCI Clearance
***This position would require an estimated 50% travel, and when you aren't traveling, you will be able to work remotely. Travel will be to various locations across the US.
The Federal Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Architect leads Technical Delivery & Engineering (TD&E) delivery engagements and cross-functional technical teams on Federal programs and projects. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for technical communications with Sales, Engineers, Architects, and customers for projects. The Enterprise Architect will participate in multiple facets of delivery for our DoD customers.
The Enterprise Architect assists the Chief Architect during Professional Services engagements and works with Lead or Principal consultants and other cross-functional teams on complex customer projects. The Enterprise Architect is a technical and business outcome leader that will provide oversight and alignment between Engineers, Architects, and the customer technical or business leaders for projects.
The Enterprise Architect may be assigned to lead customer-facing services projects of varying size and complexity that will often include the development of project deliverables (examples include white papers, plans, strategies, designs, assessments, and business case analyses). When the Enterprise Architect is designated the Solution / Technical leader, they will combine with PMO leadership to form the “Two in the Box” model, a vital part of our approach to driving successful project outcomes.
Solutions / Technical Leadership Role:
• The Enterprise Architect understands all client scopes and objectives. They will be the one solution / technical voice facing the client externally and the escalation point internally for employees, Partners, and Contractors.
• The Enterprise Architect will partner with the PMO counterpart to resolve Risks and Issues upon identification.
• The Enterprise Architect is accountable for resolving technical Risks and Issues in their project using their background and the array of resources available.
• The Enterprise Architect holds staff, contractors, and partners responsible for ensuring that best practices and templates are followed and delivered to the customer.
• The Enterprise Architect will review deployment documents, technical assessments, and other technical outputs to ensure a correct and consistent tone is delivered as defined by “One Voice.”
• The Enterprise Architect will manage their respective project as if it were their own stand-alone business and deliver a service that matches our expectations, focusing on profitability and professionalism.
Primary:
• Technical / Line of Business contact for the customer from the beginning to the end of a project, ensuring the team meets the customer's desired outcomes.

Requirements
Minimum
• Possess a CCIE and/or relevant experience in one or more technology areas.
• Multi-technology (WAN/LAN, DC, WLAN, Collaboration, Compute) experience managing complex projects and architecture.
• 5+ years of recent DoD IT delivery/consulting experience.
• 5 Minimum five years (5) of industry experience in IT infrastructure architecture development and technology consulting, advisory, or professional services.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent proven experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Familiarity with DoD Data Center architecture and delivery models.
Preferred
• Thorough understanding of at least one central technology core focus area (Infrastructure Modernization, Security Transformation, or Multi-cloud architecture), key technology partners, and industry trends.
• One or more major industry IT certifications.
• Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills.
• Advanced client-facing skills, including analyzing and providing solutions to complex architecture or services problems, influencing and negotiating with clients.
• Demonstrated technical consulting experience in one or more vertical sectors: government, public sector, higher education, finance, health care, technology, or other commercial.
• Post-graduate training in business-related discipline or management.
