Job Description
We're seeking a highly experienced Splunk Infrastructure Engineer to help manage, maintain, and modernize a complex Splunk environment ingesting approximately 2.5TB/day.
Required Qualifications:
✅ Active Q Clearance
✅ Splunk Core Consultant Certification
✅ Deep expertise with:
-Splunk Enterprise architecture
-Search Head Clusters
-Indexer administration and clustering
-Distributed Splunk deployments
-VMware environments
-btool troubleshooting and configuration auditing
-Git-based configuration management
Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) experience and/or certifications
⭐ Cribl experience
⭐ Large-scale Splunk modernization and migration projects
Key Responsibilities:
-Support Search Head Clusters (ES and Ad-hoc), indexers, Monitoring Console, and License Server
-Manage complex multi-domain data routing architectures
-Troubleshoot and resolve configuration inconsistencies using btool
-Support migration efforts to Cribl
-Manage SmartStore integrations and multi-homed indexer environments
-Help drive long-term modernization of the Splunk infrastructure
📍 Location: Amarillo, TX (Remote - Required to be onsite up to 8 weeks per year - 1 to 2 week per quarter)
