This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13).

Additional information
- Oversees all manpower authorization actions and TDA management to ensure positions, staffing levels, and organizational structure remain accurate and aligned with mission needs.
- Provides long range manpower planning, anticipates changes in requirements, and ensures compliance with DoD, HQDA, ATEC, and WSMR policies.
- Directs contract oversight through subordinate CORs to ensure contracts are executed correctly, funded properly, and fully documented.
- Monitors to contractor performance across service, O and M, engineering, IT, and missions support contracts, ensuring work meets requirements and aligns with organizational needs.
- Provides executive leadership by setting policies, objectives, and resource priorities, advising senior leaders, and representing DRM in key management forums.
- Supervises division operations by directing staff, managing workload distribution, performance, resolving personnel issues, EEO, safety, and command requirements.
- Represents the Director of Resource Management (DRM) at management forums and contributes to the development of policies, standards, and procedures.
- Continuously evaluates resource utilization, reallocating priorities and adjusting workload distribution to ensure efficient, compliant, and mission aligned operations.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

- The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) is participating in an alternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NJ-04 is equal to the former GS-14 Step 01 through GS-15 step 10. ATEC uses salary control points to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $182,481.00 including locality.
