Position: Secret Data Engineer
Location: Remote in DMV (Customer visit to Quantico as needed)
Required Skills
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelors Degree with 8 years of experience on Masters Degree with 6 years of experience (12 years in lieu of degree)
- Experience building cloud-based data platforms, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses using SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Kinesis
- Programming skills in Java, Python, SQL, Scala, or R with strong software development practices.
Job Tasks
- Insight Global is looking to hire multiple Secret cleared Data Engineer to support a defense customer.
- These operations are performed remotely and supporting a team based in the VA area with requirements to work in EST and travel to Quantico as needed. Daily tasks include, but not limited to:
-Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using APIs.
- Manage, transform, and prepare data for analytics, AI/ML, and model training.
- Support data governance, security, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on data architecture, storage, and technology solutions.
- Follow coding best practices and align data solutions with business needs.
-Collaborate with teams to solve problems and improve program performance.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive data, including PII and CUI requirements.
$50hr to $60hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
