Location: Hybrid/Washington, DC. There is an expectation that this role would be in the office initially, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid status of office/remote depending on the situation.
Clearance: No clearance required, must be a U.S. Citizen, cannot be a duel citizen. Candidate must be able to process for a "Public Trust T2" SEC clearance and pass a background check and drug screen.

The Enterprise Operations Center Specialist - Mid provides monitoring and incident management support within the SEC Enterprise Operations Center (EOC). This role monitors enterprise systems and networks using advanced monitoring technologies, coordinates incident resolution, and ensures timely escalation of critical events to appropriate engineering teams and government leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
Enterprise Monitoring and Event Management
• Monitor enterprise systems for events, alerts, and anomalies using tools such as Datadog, SolarWinds, Spectrum, and UIM.
• Coordinate and manage the resolution of events and alerts across infrastructure, network, and application tiers.
• Identify problem areas, analyze patterns, and coordinate with engineering teams for resolution.
• Utilize software and hardware monitoring tools to diagnose complex problems and factors affecting system availability.
Incident Coordination and Escalation
• Open and facilitate technical bridges for scheduled and unscheduled outage events.
• Notify government leads and key stakeholders of high-impact or priority failures following established escalation procedures.
• Generate and dispatch ServiceNow tickets in response to alerts and technician requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide 24/7 monitoring coverage, maintaining continuous system oversight and support during assigned shifts.
Reporting and Documentation
• Generate analytical and trending reports on SEC network, computing, and application services to support decision-making.
• Maintain operational documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and escalation procedures.
• Participate in root-cause analysis of complex problems and contribute to remediation strategies.
• Track and report incident metrics, response times, and resolution outcomes.
