Clearance: No clearance required, must be a U.S. Citizen, cannot be a duel citizen. Candidate must be able to process for a "Public Trust T2" SEC clearance and pass a background check and drug screen.

Job Description:
The AV Technician - Junior provides front-end audiovisual and video teleconferencing (AV/VTC) support for SEC facilities. This role manages, deploys, and troubleshoots AV/VTC equipment in meeting rooms, auditoriums, and multipurpose spaces. The technician supports event scheduling, setup, live broadcasts, and post-production editing while ensuring reliable collaboration experiences for SEC staff and leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
AV/VTC Equipment Support and Operations
• Provide front-end support for AV/VTC systems, proactively managing equipment in meeting rooms, auditoriums, and multipurpose rooms.
• Field and resolve user questions regarding AV/VTC equipment usage and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Perform event scheduling and AV setup for meetings, conferences, and special events.
• Install, repair, refresh, and retire AV equipment as directed by the AV Engineering team.
Live Production and Media Support
• Produce live broadcasts and handle post-production editing of recorded events.
• Perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of audio and video equipment.
• Support off-site AV/VTC events including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain AV equipment inventory and ensure readiness for scheduled events.
Collaboration and Documentation
• Coordinate with the AV Engineering team and facilities management to support room configurations and technology upgrades.
• Document AV configurations, issue resolutions, and equipment status in ServiceNow.
• Assist with user training on AV equipment operation and best practices.
• Follow established SOPs for AV operations, escalating complex issues to senior AV engineers.
