Job Description
Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with defined system architectures (DoDAF, SOA, etc.). Contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents. Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and functional allocation. Assist in the development of system of system engineering documentation, perform technical/non-technical assessment and management, and end-to-end flow analysis.
• Strong knowledge of a wide range of cloud services and solutions like AWS and alternative cloud service provider frameworks.
• Experience engineering physical and virtual VDI and VPN infrastructures.
• Strong proficiency with network topology to ensure reliable, high-performance, and secure system connectivity.
• Evaluate Customer needs and architect scalable, agile cloud technologies.
• Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
• Conduct systems requirements reviews and develop concepts of operation and interface standards.
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
