Platform & Governance Lead Architect – ServiceNow
Position Summary: Platform and Governance Lead Architect will serve as the lead technical authority responsible for the overall governance, management, and architectural integrity of the ServiceNow platform. This individual will establish and enforce platform standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent, secure, and scalable deployments across the organization. The Platform and Governance Lead Architect will provide strategic oversight of platform lifecycle management, guide the adoption of best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements supporting the Department of Defense Community.
Location: Hybrid (Periodic Site Visits)

Key Responsibilities:
· Will coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize platform enhancements, oversee platform health and performance, and mentor team members on governance and architectural principles to support successful ServiceNow operations
· Deep understanding of platform data architecture, security best practices, performance tuning, and robust stakeholder advisory skills for continuous improvement
· Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap
· Lead architecture design for ServiceNow modules including HRSD, CSM, and custom applications
· Establish platform governance, development standards, and best practices
· Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend adoption strategies
· Provide technical leadership for platform upgrades, integrations, and enterprise implementations
· Collaborate with enterprise architects and business leaders to align ServiceNow capabilities with business strategy
· Develop technical documentation and implementation guides
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• Significant professional background (typically 7+ years, including 3+ years in governance/architecture), preferably in DoD/Federal environments (e.g., IL5 – IL6)
Preferred Qualifications:
• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) is highly desired, or equivalent demonstrable platform governance and architectural experience in high-security environments; ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• U.S. Citizen
• Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
