Information Technology Senior Consultant Lvl 5

Performs as a consultant in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies. Provides highly technical and specialized guidance concerning automated solutions to complex information processing problems, performs elaborate analyses, studies, prepares reports and gives presentations. Manages the project work as defined by the government, leads medium to large complex projects and major phases of very large projects, and provides highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems. Specific duties include hardware & software inventory updates & change log updates, work various Secure The Enterprise (STE) & Secure The Network (STN) tasks, review XACTA notices, complete SEAR audit log records, review & address POAM for IAVAs, coordinate with system owners & system administrators, perform various SSP efforts, review scans & work with system owners & system administrators to address and remediate issues, address computer incident security reports, and begin authorization for new systems and re-authorization for legacy systems.

Required Skills

• Experience in security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher
• Experience with LatteArt and Gatekeeper

Qualifications

• High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience. OR
• Associate's degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. OR
• Bachelor's degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
