TTG-305 - Software Engineer - $288,250 Total Compensation

TTG Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in Lean Agile development and cloud environments. We are looking for a candidate capable of designing, developing, and integrating advanced software solutions, including LLM-powered capabilities, to join our innovative team. The candidate will participate in all Lean Agile scrums, sprints, and grooming sessions, consulting and coordinating for problem resolution and task clarification. You will collaborate with security, operations, engineering, testing, and other teams to provide system information and technical support. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and modifying software systems, as well as documenting and tracking vendor software roadmaps for updates. The role also involves unit testing software, performing code reviews, and designing scalable search and retrieval systems leveraging Elasticsearch and LLM-powered capabilities such as RAG pipelines.Subject Matter Expert Normally requires at least sixteen (16) years of experience specific to the skill or occupation. For specific computer languages, systems or technologies, expertise with the subject matter or technology outweighs the number of years of experience.

Requirements: 16 yrs+

• Lean Agile development experience
• Experience building or integrating LLM-based solutions, including RAG and semantic search
• Experience developing detailed design and associated deliverables
• Experience translating customer and system requirements into design
• Experience designing system interfaces
• Experience developing Single Page Applications using React, HTML5, and CSS3
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
• Troubleshooting internet and web protocols/technologies such as Tomcat, Node.js, Web Services, or SSL
• Experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus
• Elasticsearch experience, including index design and scaling
• Experience designing data pipelines for search and RAG workflows

• Experience with the sponsor's Lean Agile methodology
• Experience evaluating and integrating LLMs, including OpenAI and open-source models
• Experience with vector databases and relevance optimization
• Ability to lead or mentor teams in search and AI/LLM best practices

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Total compensation is the total combination of salary, benefits, retirement, bonuses, etc... and it is calculated using the following formula:

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits Budget + Retirement + Bonus + Training Budget + Phone Stipend
