Raytheon's Hardware Electrical Engineering team is responsible for Design, Validation, Qualification and production of digital Radar systems. Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. What You Will Do
- The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, integration or troubleshooting of digital Radar processing systems.
- Collaborate with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with requirements.
- Qualified candidates will research and select servers, workstations, add-in interface cards, storage devices, networking and other COTS hardware
- Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering experience
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and information technology infrastructure through a rigorous design and documentation process
- Experience with system level hardware integration and troubleshooting skills
- Technical writing and formal presentation experience
- Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense product development lifecycle
