• 5+ years of experience supporting Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) and future Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Mission Landing Zone (MLZ) security stacks in Azure Government.
• 5+ years of experience supporting MS Azure Application Gateways, Load Balancing, Virtual WANs, VPN Gateways and Virtual Networks
• 5+ years of experience managing MS Azure Firewalls

JOB SUMMARY:
The Networking Administrator sustains and manages the DOD SCCA Security Stack and future Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Mission Landing Zones. This role is responsible for the architectural design and secure connectivity of Azure networking services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sustain the current legacy Department of Defense (DOD) Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) and future Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Mission Landing Zone (MLZ) security stacks in Azure Government.
• Perform required scanning and maintenance as directed by Cybersecurity Support to maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) compliance.
• Coordinate with Mission Owners to perform configuration and sustainment of network services, including:
o Azure Application Gateway and Load Balancer.
o Azure Domain Name Services (DNS) and Traffic Manager.
o Microsoft/Azure ExpressRoutes, Virtual WAN, and VPN Gateways.
o Azure Firewall Premium (AFW-P) and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
o Azure Virtual Networks (VNET) and Network Security Groups (NSG).
o Azure Network Watcher and NAT Gateway.
• Manage the Azure Firewall Premium (AFW-P) service to block untrusted traffic, maintain internal network trust, and enforce threat protection.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 2–4 years of cloud engineering experience
• Advanced experience in architectural design and deployment of IT networking systems.
• Expertise in Azure-specific networking tools and secure cloud connectivity.
• Expertise in Azure administration and cloud architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps toolchains
• Security+ certification

Preferred:
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance
• Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate)
• Experience implementing DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) configurations.
• Support compliance DoD SRG (Security Requirements Guide) and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) SP 800-53 (Special Publication 800-53) security controls.
