We are seeking a Cyber Data Analyst with a strong background in cybersecurity or IT to support enterprise cybersecurity and compliance initiatives. This role focuses on analyzing User Activity Monitoring (UAM) and Comply to Connect (C2C) data, ensuring data accuracy, improving reporting quality, and delivering actionable insights to leadership.
This is not a pure data role — candidates must understand cybersecurity environments, compliance frameworks, and how security data is generated, collected, and used.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and validate cybersecurity datasets, including User Activity Monitoring (UAM) and Comply to Connect (C2C) data
Review cybersecurity hardening scorecard data and assess data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across components
Identify data quality gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen reporting integrity and reliability
Evaluate current data collection efforts and refine metrics/questions to ensure meaningful and accurate outputs
Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI to visualize cybersecurity compliance and risk trends
Translate technical cybersecurity data into clear, actionable reporting for senior leadership
Partner with cybersecurity teams to align data reporting with operational and compliance needs
Support analysis tied to threat monitoring, user activity monitoring, and Zero Trust initiatives
Required Qualifications
Strong IT or cybersecurity background (hands-on experience in cyber, network operations, security operations, or IT systems)
Experience working with cybersecurity data, compliance data, or enterprise monitoring tools
Proven experience in data analysis, analytics, or data science (must go beyond basic reporting)
Strong Power BI or data visualization experience
Ability to validate data integrity and identify inconsistencies in complex datasets
Familiarity with User Activity Monitoring (UAM), security monitoring, or compliance frameworks
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices
Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical and executive audiences
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience, or 14+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Comply to Connect (C2C) data and cybersecurity compliance programs
Experience with cybersecurity hardening scorecards or enterprise compliance metrics
Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and implementation
Experience supporting DoD/DoW environments or large enterprise security programs
Experience supporting or leading cybersecurity initiatives or teams
Familiarity with CATMS or similar task management systems
Clearance
Active TS/SCI clearance required
