You will collaborate with military, government, and engineering stakeholders to sustain highly available, secure, and compliant enterprise systems within a classified environment.

You'll leverage advanced Linux administration, systems integration, troubleshooting, and deployment expertise to enhance system reliability, operational performance, and mission success while directly contributing to the sustainment, modernization, and continuous improvement of critical national security space infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the future of U.S. space operations while working alongside highly skilled professionals supporting one of the nation's most important missions.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems supporting mission-critical Space Domain Awareness operations.
  • Perform routine system administration, patch management, performance tuning, and configuration management to maximize system stability, reliability, and availability.
  • Participate in system architecture and design reviews while developing and maintaining detailed technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Install, integrate, configure, and validate hardware and software components to ensure seamless interoperability across enterprise environments.
  • Execute system testing, software installation, upgrades, deployments, and validation activities to maintain operational integrity and mission readiness.
  • Support onsite system build, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities in Guam while adhering to engineering best practices and security standards.
  • Utilize Enterprise IT management and monitoring tools to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
  • Monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, and proactively resolve incidents to minimize downtime and maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements, security policies, configuration management standards, and system hardening best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, military personnel, government customers, and technical stakeholders to communicate system status, technical solutions, and sustainment activities.
  • Support system lifecycle management, including upgrades, maintenance planning, technology refresh initiatives, documentation updates, and configuration control.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency, system performance, and long-term sustainment through continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Required
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator supporting enterprise, mission-critical, or classified environments.
  • Strong Linux administration experience, including installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, patch management, performance tuning, and system optimization.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of system architecture, systems engineering principles, and technical documentation development.
  • Experience integrating, configuring, and supporting hardware and software within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience performing system testing, software installation, deployment, upgrades, and operational validation.
  • Proficiency using Enterprise IT management, monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, Linux system hardening, configuration management, and DoD security compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to military personnel, government customers, engineers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in Guam with minimal travel requirements.
Desired
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), or other national security mission environments.
  • Experience supporting classified, highly available, mission-critical enterprise infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes, sustainment operations, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary engineering and operational teams.
