• Create interactive prototypes, wireframes, and user interfaces using Figma and Adobe XD.
• Document all design artifacts (wireframes, style guides, workflows) in contract management tools and obtain approvals through DOD governance processes.
• Support continuous UX improvement through feedback loops and usability metrics (e.g., System Usability Scale scores, task success rates).
• Develop modular, responsive UI components based on U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) 3.0 and DOD-specific branding standards.
• Ensure mobile-first, accessible design for web and mobile platforms, meeting WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 compliance.
• Integrate analytics and dashboards (Kibana, Oracle Analytics) to support real-time decision-making and user experience improvements.
• Embed in-app guidance (Oracle Guided Learning) and AI-powered support (Oracle Digital Assistant) for training and onboarding.
• Ensure all designs comply with DOD cybersecurity, accessibility, and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
• DOD Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• 3+ years of experience in UX design, including enterprise-scale applications.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, and USWDS 3.0.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying HCD principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with DOD HR/pay processes and enterprise application design.
• Experience developing accessible, mobile-first, and responsive interfaces.
• Ability to document and present design artifacts for DOD governance and approval.
Preferred Qualifications
