What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a specialized location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report conditions needing attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document security-related events, observations, and incident details according to site requirements.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post instructions, and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
