You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date). As a SUPERVISORY MISSION SUPPORT OFFICER at the GS- 0301- 14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Serves as the Mission Support Division Chief, responsible for identifying emerging mission support and operational requirements, assessing impact on assigned programs, and developing recommendations.
- Serves as the primary liaison by coordinating and fostering mission support/IT/facilities tasks in coordination with government subject matter experts (SMEs) and installation support, engineering, logistics, and financial management personnel
- Integrates mission support into long-term planning for resources and provides input into the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution/Program Objective Memorandum (PPBE/POM) process.
- Liaises with DTRA, installations (e.g., 377 ABW, AFCEC, USACE), and resourcing subject matter experts (SMEs) to enhance DTRA's capabilities.
- Develops performance standards and objectives, tracks quality of work, and evaluates the performance of subordinate employees.
- Serves as approving official, certifying official, and billing official for Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program, overseeing cardholders, generating and tracking requirements, and coordinates with DTRA/Financial Management on the Budget Estimate System.

- Telework Eligibility: In-person at facilities located at Kirtland AFB, NM, may be eligible for limited, situational telework subject to supervisory approval, not to exceed current Agency guideline, and not eligible for remote telework.

- Subject to pre-employment drug testing and periodic random drug testing thereafter.
- Acquisition Workforce position in PM area, required to become certified in the Practitioner tier within 5 years, acquire a minimum of 40 continuous learning points (CLPs) every fiscal year as a goal and 80 CLPs being mandatory within 2 years.
- Position works with and safeguards individuals' personal data protected by the Privacy Act.
- Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Overtime and/or emergency overtime may be required.
- Work may require travel 20% CONUS away from the normal duty station; may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
- Recall to duty may be a requirement of this position (mission-essential).
