⚙️ The Role
Westway Services Group LLC is seeking an experienced Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Development to join our senior leadership team and help drive the company's continued growth across the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) markets.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner closely with the VP of Growth & Client Success, Chief Development Officer, and executive leadership team to shape and execute Westway's long-range expansion strategy. This includes supporting the development of new secure facilities, leading government accreditation efforts, fostering strategic relationships across the IC and DoD, and positioning Westway as the premier provider of mission-focused secure space solutions.

🎯 What You’ll Do
• Drive strategic growth initiatives and expansion efforts across new and existing markets.
• Serve as a key liaison with Intelligence Community, DoD, and government agency stakeholders.
• Lead facility accreditation efforts and support the development of secure facilities from concept through operational readiness.
• Partner with executive leadership on market strategy, site selection, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Lead proposals, capture efforts, white papers, presentations, and competitive bid activities.
• Strengthen Westway's market presence by supporting customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and brand visibility.
• Represent Westway with government partners, investors, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government security requirements and accreditation standards.
🧠 What You’ll Bring
• Demonstrated leadership experience supporting growth, development, security, or strategic initiatives within the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.
• Strong knowledge of government security requirements, accreditation processes, and secure facility operations.
• Experience working with senior government officials, security professionals, and executive leadership.
• Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience leading proposals, business development initiatives, and complex government-related projects.
🔐 Security Requirements
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active TS/SCI clearance with poly (required)
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) or Full-Scope Polygraph
• Working knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, DCIDs, ICD 503, ICD 704, ICD 705, and related government security requirements
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF), secure facility accreditation, personnel security programs, and physical and technical security measures used to protect national security information
