Overview
We are seeking a Junior ISSE to support Special Access Programs (SAPs) within DoD environments (Air Force, OSD). This role focuses on a blend of RMF, system accreditation, cybersecurity compliance, & infrastructure supporting classified systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain RMF authorization packages (A&A lifecycle)
• Ensure compliance with DoD, SCI, and SAP security standards
• Conduct self-assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring activities
• Review and validate security controls and Bodies of Evidence (BoE)
• Track vulnerabilities and manage POA&Ms and remediation efforts
• Support system accreditation changes and security impact analysis
• Coordinate with ISSMs, engineers, and sys admins on security posture
• Enforce access controls, account management, and audit readiness
• Support incident response and security investigations
• Oversee COMSEC, media control, and system accountability

Technical / Environment
• Hands-on experience with:
○ Windows Server (2012R2), Windows 7/10
○ Microsoft Exchange (2010/2016)
○ Active Directory, Group Policy, patching (WSUS)
○ LAN/WAN networking and system hardening
○ Vulnerability scanning, STIGs, and security tools
○ Data backup and COMSEC integration
• Experience supporting systems in classified / air-gapped environments

Required Experience
• 5–7+ years in:
○ ISSO / Information Assurance / Cybersecurity roles
○ DoD environments supporting RMF / A&A
• Background supporting system or network administration
• Bachelor's Degree OR additional 4 years of relevant experience (9 years total)

IAT Level II

Compensation
$60-67/hr
