Job Description
The System Engineer provides senior level systems engineering support across requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, testing, and lifecycle management. This role supports government technical leadership, ensuring the integrity of complex hybrid cloud systems and enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Analyze requirements and system architectures; develop and update system engineering documentation
• Lead design, development, and integration activities across hardware/software components
• Support DoDAF/SOA aligned architecture development and interface definition
• Prepare SE management plans, test plans, and technical documentation
• Coordinate CCB actions, design reviews, and system verification planning
• Manage system baselines, risk tracking, and configuration management
• Support Certification & Accreditation, JCIDS documentation, and stakeholder technical reviews
• Provide technical direction for integration, testing, and operational concept development
Key Technical Requirements
• Experience with Windows Server 2022, Windows 10/11, and Linux in cloud and on premise environments
• Ability to architect, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, AMIs, Route 53, Workspaces, and core AWS services
• Experience supporting on premise server infrastructure
• Proficiency with SaltStack for configuration automation
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipeline stability and integrations
Qualifications
• Top Secret/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph required — no exceptions
• 20 years of Systems Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or IT discipline
• Five (5) additional years of SE experience may substitute for a degree
• Must have one IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE)
