Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Analyze cyber threats and research emerging threats.
• Assess cyber criminal and foreign intelligence entity capabilities.
• Perform data analysis, correlate and synthesize threat data.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities to prevent and eradicate threats.
• Articulate requirements for development teams.
• Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools like Elasticsearch and Splunk.
• Understand data transfer protocols and document findings in detailed reports.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $248k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct continuous research and analysis on emerging threats and threat actor activity.
• Identify and assess capabilities and activities of cyber criminals and/or foreign intelligence entities.
• Analyze data and prioritize vulnerabilities to prevent and eradicate threats to critical U.S. systems.
• Interact with, implement, and manage cross domain solutions in Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) environments.
• Extract and enrich information from various data formats.
• Analyze, correlate, and synthesize threat data from diverse sources.
• Articulate requirements and enhancements to development teams for capabilities and tools.
• Utilize XKS for general queries, fingerprinting, and identifying atypical events.
• Apply experience with Elastic/Splunk or other Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
• Understand data transfer protocols and procedures in alignment with RMF, NIST, and ICD 503 standards.
• Document findings, create detailed reports, and present results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with cyber analysts, data integrators, and developers.
• Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
