Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Sr Consultant to provide advanced technical expertise, systems engineering leadership, and specialized support to complex government IT initiatives. This role requires deep experience in cloud services, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, software engineering, and performance analysis. The Senior Consultant will support high impact technical programs, lead major project phases, and deliver expert level solutions to challenging IT problems.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform as a consultant in leading edge IT technologies and methodologies
• Provide highly technical and specialized guidance for automated and complex information processing solutions
• Conduct in depth analyses, studies, and system-level evaluations
• Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and technical presentations
• Lead medium to large complex technical projects and major phases of large programs
• Manage project work as directed by government stakeholders
• Deliver expert level solutions to complex IT and software engineering challenges
Technical Responsibilities
• Deep understanding of VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSphere API, and related services
• Understanding of Amazon AWS EC2, EC2 API, and associated cloud services
• Advanced Kubernetes performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization for running services
• DevOps and IaC engineering using Go, Ansible, and Terraform
• Hands on experience with Sidero Labs Talos based Kubernetes platforms
• Design, code, and modify software to implement new features, optimize high performance algorithms, and integrate applications across varied operating environments
• Design and implement complex data interfaces; execute queries to ensure data accessibility and system reliability
• Analyze system workflows and performance to propose technical solutions and enhance development standards
• Write and review technical documentation and support the development of comprehensive software test procedures
Qualifications
• Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph — No Exceptions
• High School Diploma/GED with 20 years of relevant experience, OR
• Associate’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience
• Must have one IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE)
