Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Manage application deployments and software configuration.
• Perform server management and system monitoring.
• Troubleshoot system issues and outages.
• Utilize expertise in DevOps, Linux, AWS, Docker Swarm, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Git.
• Desired skills include Python, NiFi, Elasticsearch, Java, Spring, and MongoDB.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $291k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Support DevOps engineering for a modernization effort to converge authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.
• Deploy applications and install/configure complex software.
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Monitor and maintain systems for required levels of performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Participate in a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support (approximately one week out of every 4-6 weeks), with additional compensation for on-call weeks.
• Required technical skills include experience with:
• Linux
• AWS, MASH, and VMs
• Docker Swarm
• Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g., GitLab CI/CD)
• Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Ansible scripting and development
• Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
• Git
• Desired technical skills include experience with:
• Python scripting and development
• NiFi maintenance and configuration
• Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration
• Java / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)
• HAProxy
• MongoDB
Telework:
This role supports up to 1 day/week telework.
