- Lead the design and implementation of complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and automation logic.
- Architect and maintain CMDB structures, service mapping, discovery strategies, and data governance frameworks.
- Oversee integrations with enterprise systems (identity services, monitoring tools, cloud platforms, ERP systems).
- Ensure platform compliance with DoD cybersecurity, NIST, FedRAMP, and internal security policies.
- Conduct platform assessments, identify technical debt, and lead modernization and optimization initiatives.
- Provide architectural oversight for upgrades, module deployments, and multi‑environment release strategies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, workflow maps, and runbooks.
- Support internal and external audits by documenting data flows, access controls, and platform configurations.
- Collaborate with operations, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders to ensure platform reliability and alignment with organizational needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, drive architectural decisions, and mentor developers and administrators.
- Possess strong documentation, workflow diagramming, and communication skills.
- Have deep command of ServiceNow architecture, data models, scripting, and integration frameworks.
- Show mastery of CMDB design, service mapping, and enterprise data modeling.
- Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills across workflows, integrations, and platform components.
- Be capable of designing scalable, secure, and highly available ServiceNow solutions.
- Effectively interface with multiple teams, gather requirements, and translate mission needs into platform capabilities.
