Develop and lead strategy for a large intel focused organization for improving and creating processes or systems based on in-depth understanding of customer objectives in combination with market forces, the competitive landscape, and emerging industry best practices.
Communicate with parties in and outside of assigned job description and function, with responsibility to communicate to internal and external organizations to include, customers, partners, and suppliers.
Review and collaborate with CACI site lead to ensure successful technical execution across all programs in the assigned Naval Undersea Warfare Command (NUWC) or assigned portfolio.
Recommend innovative ideas or approaches for customer requirements as well as generating solutions to address current challenges.
Inform CACI's Strategic Plan for growth by collaborating to develop a cohesive technology strategy aligned with business pursuits to support a competitive advantage in the market.
Participate in analysis of alternatives, task planning, scope definition, and technical risk management to ensure successful program execution.
Generate and support publication of technical briefs, transition briefs, white papers and proposals.
Support Engineering Review Boards, Program Management Reviews, system demonstrations, formal test events and other technical interchange meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve short-and long-term objectives.
Analyze engineering systems, processes, and projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness with recommendations to CACI site lead to improve team functionality.
More About the Role
The UxS Engineering SME should be comfortable working with a diverse set of contractors and customers using strong interpersonal skills to contribute to assessment, integration, testing and fielding of wide-ranging technologies and advanced concepts. This will ensure that requirements are tracked, managed, and technical issues resolved to support program success. This position will serve as the UxS technical, operational, and tactical SME for technical resources across related NUWC programs.
Lead day-to-day execution activities of the engineering team in conjunction with, and in direct support of the Program Manager (PM).
Identify technical continuous improvement and project execution efficiencies.
Develop and implement improvements to existing processes and practices.
Conduct investigation to understand root cause of issues and generate recommendations on solution to the PM.

You'll Bring These Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in engineering or an equivalent of at least 10 years of DoD engineering or engineering management experience.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a position requiring engineering management expertise
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Track record of complex problem-solving aptitude and results based performance.
- Strong customer relation skills, technical meeting experience, and record of representing organization(s) in technical matters.
- Excellent written communication skills, strong experience developing and/or supporting white papers, technical proposals, and Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) documents.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Experience in an engineering management position working with NUWC and/or other IAC MAC customers.
- Degree or graduate degree in Engineering Management or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management, or Accounting.
- UxS operational experience and work with the acquisition and engineering community.
- Experience working large, system of systems design and development programs.
- Specific knowledge of the Navy's full-spectrum RDT&E addressable market, competitors, technologies, and mission-specific threats.
- Theater operational employment of technologies and Concept of Employment (CONEMP)
- Effective collaboration skills and strategy development with peers and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with senior leadership in a supporting role to execute strategic vision and tasks as assigned.
