Job Description

Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Management Analyst to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Provides analytical expertise and independent judgment to support Bureau leadership. The role conducts complex organizational and policy analysis, interprets policy, evaluates programs and performance, and develops data-driven recommendations. Responsibilities include delivering authoritative consultation on operational strategy, risk, and organizational effectiveness; guiding enterprise-wide initiatives; and ensuring alignment between leadership directives, stakeholder engagement, and mission objectives.
  • Advises senior leadership on organizational priorities, policy interpretation, operational risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Conducts complex organizational analysis to evaluate programs, processes, and performance trends, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Exercises independent judgment in assessing leadership taskings, determining priorities, and recommending courses of action.
  • Develops executive-level reports including strategic analyses, decision memos, and briefing materials that shape leadership direction.
  • Recommends improvements to policies, workflows, governance structures, and organizational alignment to enhance efficiency and mission execution.
  • Leads cross-organizational coordination to ensure consistent implementation of initiatives, policies, and strategic objectives across stakeholders.
  • Oversees analytical tools and performance frameworks used to monitor organizational effectiveness and support executive oversight.
  • Evaluates enterprise initiatives, identifies systemic risks, and determines corrective actions to maintain alignment with strategic goals.
  • Supports strategic engagements by preparing analysis, recommendations, and materials for leadership meetings and mission-critical activities.
  • Reviews documents for policy compliance, clarity, and strategic alignment, advising leadership on risks and implications.
  • Manages institutional knowledge resources to ensure continuity, accuracy, and informed decision-making.
  • Serves as principal liaison to resolve complex issues requiring executive attention and cross-organizational coordination.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors preferred. 2- 4 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience overseeing activities, resources, and fast-paced workflows that require quick judgment, prioritization, and clear communication.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Highly organized, attentive to detail, dependable, and focused on providing quality support.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines while coordinating efforts across various groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated capability to research, evaluate, and distill information into clear written and verbal outputs for leadership audiences.
  • Preferred experience providing support in operational, administrative, project-focused, task coordination, or organizational support settings.
  • Active Secret clearance.
