IT Project Manager
Clearance - US Citizen required for Public Trust
Hybrid Remote - 2 days in-site in DC
Mon-Fri Days

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, high-visibility technology initiatives supporting nationwide operations. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects while ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. The position requires onsite support 2 days per week and collaboration across multiple U.S. time zones.

Key Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (additional experience may substitute for a degree)
• 7+ years of progressive experience managing complex IT projects
• PMP certification required
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to start
• Experience managing multiple high-priority projects in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities
• Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Develop project scopes, objectives, schedules, and resource plans
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to execute project activities
• Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, and implementation plans
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
• Manage changes to project scope, schedules, and costs using established methodologies
• Brief senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and future initiatives
• Support strategic planning efforts by evaluating emerging technologies and business needs
• Ensure resource availability and alignment across concurrent projects

Technical Experience
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Network Engineering concepts, including Cisco routing, switching, firewalls, and network infrastructure
• Experience managing nationwide ISP and circuit deployment projects
• Experience leading network and internet deployments across federal locations
• Hands-on experience supporting Cisco technologies, including Cisco switches, routers, and enterprise networking solutions
• Experience with Cisco Meraki environments, including Meraki Access Point deployments, wireless implementations, and cloud-managed networking
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear presentations for executive and non-technical audiences
