Dates: 6/29 - 7/10 (M-F each week - 10 work days total)
Location: Langley AFB, VA (Onsite)
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
Seeking experienced network installation technicians to support the physical deployment of network and telecommunications equipment across multiple locations at Langley AFB.
Required Skills:
Rack and stack of network, telecom, or IT equipment
Fiber and copper cabling installation and patching
Cable management, labeling, and documentation
Installation of network switches, routers, servers, or telecom equipment
Ability to follow engineering instructions and rack elevations
Experience working in data centers, telecom facilities, MDF/IDF rooms, or military communications environments
Familiarity with fiber optic handling, testing and cleaning best practices
Basic troubleshooting and smart hands support
Preferred Backgrounds:
Fiber Technician
Network Technician
Data Center Technician
Structured Cabling Technician
Telecom Technician
Tools:
Basic installation tools (power screwdriver, etc)
Cable label machine (Brady or equivalent)
Cable management accessories (Velcro, zip ties, etc)
All testing tools will be provided
Other Requirements:
Ability to lift and install rack-mounted equipment
Ability to work onsite and move between multiple locations
Some work may be scheduled after-hours
