Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Senior IT Specialist in support of one of our large federal clients in Norfolk, VA. This individual will support the mission of maintaining and modernizing critical IT infrastructure and communication systems in a high-performance environment. Their day-to-day will include, but is not limited to, performing advanced system installations, leading Tier III troubleshooting efforts, optimizing network performance, and supporting large-scale upgrades and integrations across enterprise environments. A qualified candidate will have experience with advanced networking protocols (BGP, EIGRP, IPv6), DNS/DHCP services, and enterprise system integration, along with a strong background in hands-on engineering and problem resolution.
- Performing advanced installation, configuration, and integration of IT systems and networks
- Leading and supporting Tier III troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Managing and optimizing network performance (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols)
- Supporting and overseeing system upgrades and new IT implementations
- Integrating systems across environments while ensuring operational continuity
- Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure system design and deployment
$35.32/hr to $46.50/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
